This website created by Lee-Ann and Tony Strelzow chronicals the “Team” preparation and the rally events related to the ERA Himalayan Challenge rally set for September of 2018.
This will be the second ERA sponsored endurance rally for Team Strelzow and the redoubtable 1936 41/4 L Derby Bentley. "Peking to Paris”, held in 2013, saw Team Strelzow survive the 33 days and 11,500km crossing from China to Europe. This race led us through some of the most challeging roads of the Gobi desert, Siberia, and the Alps. Team Strelzow was proud to have finished in 4th place overall against all prewar cars and to win the European Cup -1st place (Kiev to Paris) outright. Since that last Rally event Team Strelzow participated in road races in Mexico; The Chihuahua express. As well as challenging the Nurburing and a variety of other automotive events.
The Bentley needed some considerable work since finishing the P2P in 2013. This has meant some downtime whilst Carl, Patrick and the team at “The Prioriy” worked their magic to restore the mechanicals back to a competative state.
