This is our first blog entry of our upcoming trip.
Finally we received our number. We will be # 11 . We visited the Bentley for the last time mid June and now await the shippers to take her off to India. While awaiting pick up 'The Priorty' took the car for a showing to the Bentley Drivers club on June 17th and proudly displayed her there. We understand from the participants and members it was well received with lots of well wishes sent our way. We on the other hand, back in Vancouver started our prep. We visited the doctor to get the green light and at the same time we were jabbed with numerous vacines and given medicines necessary for travelling through the back country of India and Nepal. We picked up our, multiple doses of Typhoid medicine and other medicines required for our high altitiude foray. The organizers are recommending oxygen tanks however Tony seems skeptical that the weight is unnecessary. Weight during our last rally was our nemesis. We had for those of you that didnt follow our blog over 15 flat tires and we do not want a repeat of that.
